From the Controller’s Menu Capability – How to set which MODE of Operation the controller will operate in: E131, Master, Slave.
E131: In this mode, the controller will listen to an Ethernet connection for E131, ArcNet, or DP messages and display the Lighting content contained with.
Master: In this mode, the controller is operating in “StandAlone” mode and is acquiring its Lighting and Audio data from the on-board SD card.
There can ONLY be ONE Master Controller in your display since THAT controller will have all Slave controllers synchronize operations with its own.
Slave: In this mode, the controller is operating in “StandAlone” mode and is acquiring its Lighting and Audio data from the on-board SD card. The Slave Controller takes all PLAY direction from the Master controller via a “Wired” Ethernet connection or a WIFI connection
A Static IP can be set from the Controller’s Web Server or from the Controller’s Menu Capability.
